Luke Scott’s bright future as a garbage man.

Luke Scott, future garbage man.

Luke Scott. I am yet again, having to give you more attention than your batting average ever will. I had no idea you were so in love and envious of the Red Sox and Boston that you have nothing better to do then smugly talk about something you clearly know nothing about. Perhaps it is because your IQ is about the number of homeruns you hit last year.

Let’s cut to the chase here, I get little joy out of insulting ignorant boys who don’t know how to play a man’s game.

Fenway is a “dump”. Those are mighty brave words coming from a player who used to play at Tropicana field. (This is for all of you who agree.) If you want cup holders and comfortable seats go to a basketball game. Baseball is about history. Baseball is about not being comfortable because you shouldn’t want to stay in your seats. You want to live and feel every moment.  Baseball is about every inning, every hitter and pitcher is a chance to change everything.

How many times can you use the word “work” in one conversation? Let’s take a look. Five times you uses the word work.

“As a baseball player, going there to work, it’s a dump,” Scott told MLB.com.

Added Scott: “I mean, it’s old. It does have a great feel and nostalgia, but at the end of the day, I’d rather be at a good facility where I can get my work in. A place where I can go hit in the cage. Where I have space and it’s a little more comfortable to come to work.

“You’re packed in like sardines there. It’s hard to get your work in. … You have to go to their weight room if you want to lift. From a fan’s perspective, it’s probably pretty cool to go see a game at a historic park. But from a player’s point of view, it’s not a place where you want to go to work.”

Can someone please tell me what Luke Scott knows about work? Lucky for you, since you know all about “work” Tropicana was ranked 28 out of 30 teams in attendance last year. You don’t really have fans you have to “work” for do you, Scott?

The irony of you picking up trash off of Fenway did not go unnoticed by me Luke Scott. In fact, the way you used your bat to try to trap it showed how much you respect baseball. Did you think picking it up made your point that Fenway is a “dump”? Your arrogance is astounding. Really all I saw based on your batting average ( Good Job on hitting your first homerun of the year in Fenway smiling like you really did something and still going down like a sinking ship) and your blatant disrespect for the game is your future as a garbage man. Clearly you are an expert on what is trash and what is not.

Fenway gave you some welcoming boo’s and we fell into your trap. Your desperation to make headlines in the same manner as a Kardashian are really only more proof what a sorry baseball player you are, incapable of making headlines for anything you actually do at “work”. To be honest, my superior intelligence has already had me spending too much time on you so one final note.

If Fenway is such a dump, players can’t work there, how is it so many of our guys have been Hall of Famers? How many of our guys won’t just get tossed because their career mattered. They mattered. I have a feeling your career will be short lived and once you are gone no one will even remember you or what position you played. I suppose with that being your future, Fenway might be a dump, or hard to work at. And as I said earlier with all the trash you talk and your expert garbage man skills, the future looks so bright for you.
