Final Boston Red Sox Prospect Watch of the 2026 season
Worcester Red Sox (Triple-A)
Franklin Arias went 7-for-19 with a double, a home run, five RBI, and two steals this week. The right-handed-hitting shortstop is slashing .323/.402/.560 with 28 doubles, two triples, and 24 home runs between Double-A and Triple-A. He’s driven in 84 runs, scored 75, and stolen eight bases.
Allan Castro went 8-for-24 with three home runs, seven RBI, and a steal. The switch-hitting outfielder is slashing .245/.319/.368 with 15 doubles, one triple, and 12 home runs. He’s driven in 65 runs, scored 60, and stolen 20 bases.
John Holobetz is on a run of strong starts. The right-handed pitcher allowed one run on four hits over 5 1/3 innings. He struck out seven batters and walked one. Holobetz has a 4.23 ERA, .249 BAA, and 1.26 WHIP in 25 games (23 starts) between Double-A and Triple-A. He has 124 strikeouts and 34 walks in 115 innings.
Blake Wehunt allowed two runs on two hits over six innings. The right-handed pitcher struck out four batters and walked three. Wehunt has a 3.30 ERA, .241 BAA, and 1.26 WHIP in 22 starts between Double-A and Triple-A. He has 101 strikeouts and 34 walks in 95 1/3 innings.
Portland Sea Dogs (Double-A)
Ronald Rosario went 5-for-12 with a double and three home runs. The right-handed-hitting catcher/first baseman finished the year slashing .267/.323/.497 with 16 doubles, one triple, and a career-high 16 home runs. He drove in 49 runs, scored 44, and stole three bases.
Mason White went 4-for-11 with two doubles, a home run, and two steals this week. He walked five times and only struck out twice. The left-handed-hitting infielder slashed .251/.353/.480 with 18 doubles, four triples, and 18 home runs between High-A and Double-A this season. He drove in 55 runs, scored 54, and stole two bases.
Ahbram Liendo went 4-for-12 with a double, a home run, four RBI, and a steal. Liendo also continued to flash the leather this week with a few more incredible plays. The right-handed-hitting third baseman posted a .239/.338/.369 slash line with 11 doubles, two triples, and a career-high eight home runs this season. He also set a career-best in RBI with 55, while scoring 53 runs and stealing 25 bases.
Isaiah Jackson made his Double-A debut this week. The left-handed-hitting outfielder went 3-for-13 with a double. He walked three times and struck out three times. Jackson drove in one run, scored one run, and stole two bases.
Yordanny Monegro made it back to Double-A for his final start of the season. The right-handed pitcher wasn’t super sharp, but he limited damage. Monegro allowed one run on three hits over three innings. He struck out one batter and walked two.
Steven Brooks allowed one hit in three shutout innings over two appearances out of the bullpen. The right-handed pitcher struck out five batters without walking any. Brooks picked up a save in both outings. He finished with a 4.06 ERA, .243 BAA, and 1.49 WHIP in 39 games (two starts) between High-A and Double-A. Brooks had 93 strikeouts and 37 walks in 64 1/3 innings.
