Worcester Red Sox (Triple-A)
Franklin Arias went 11-for-21 with three doubles and three RBI this week. He walked once and didn’t strike out. The right-handed-hitting shortstop is slashing .321/.399/.560 with 27 doubles, one triple, and 23 home runs between Double-A and Triple-A. He’s driven in 79 runs, scored 71, and stolen six steals.
Mikey Romero went 8-for-12 with two doubles and three RBI. He fanned twice and took two walks. The left-handed-hitting infielder is slashing .242/.313/.389 with 16 doubles, three triples, and 12 home runs. He’s driven in 60 runs, scored 48, and stolen two bases.
Gage Ziehl made two starts, combining to allow two runs on seven hits over 11 2/3 innings. He struck out six batters and walked one. The right-handed pitcher has a 4.32 ERA, .274 BAA, and 1.31 WHIP in 23 starts between Double-A and Triple-A. He has 118 strikeouts and 24 walks in 110 1/3 innings.
John Holobetz had his best start in Triple-A this week. The right-handed pitcher tossed six shutout innings on Friday. He allowed three hits and three walks while striking out four. Holobetz has a 4.35 ERA, .251 BAA, and 1.28 WHIP in 24 games (22 starts) between Double-A and Triple-A. He has 117 strikeouts and 33 walks in 109 2/3 innings.
Blake Wehunt allowed one run on seven hits over six innings. He struck out six batters and walked one. The right-handed pitcher has a 3.32 ERA, .249 BAA, and 1.29 WHIP in 21 starts between Double-A and Triple-A. He has 97 strikeouts and 31 walks in 89 1/3 innings.
Portland Sea Dogs (Double-A)
Hayden Mullins allowed one hit over six shutout innings in his lone start this week. He struck out a season-high 10 batters and walked one. The left-handed pitcher has a 4.12 ERA, .197 BAA, and 1.28 BAA over 22 appearances (20 starts) between Double-A and Triple-A. He has 130 strikeouts and 51 walks in 89 2/3 innings.
Henry Godbout went 10-for-22 with one double and four home runs this week. He drove in six runs and stole a base. The right-handed-hitting middle infielder is slashing .281/.399/.525 with nine doubles and 15 home runs between High-A and Double-A this season. He’s driven in 33 runs, scored 41, and stolen eight bases.
Brooks Brannon went 5-for-15 with a home run and two RBI. The right-handed-hitting first baseman is slashing .286/.364/.568 with 26 doubles, two triples, and 21 home runs. He’s driven in 67 runs, scored 47, and stolen two bases.
Greenville Drive (High-A)
Jake Schaffner went 9-for-25 with two doubles and a home run this week. The left-handed-hitting shortstop finished the year slashing .315/.362/.435 with six doubles, two triples, and a home run. He drove in 15 runs, scored 19, and stole five bases (on five attempts).
Owen Hull went 7-for-21 with a double, a home run, and five RBI. The left-handed-hitting outfielder finished the year holding a .337/.436/.531 slash line with 10 doubles and three home runs. He drove in 20 runs, scored 17, and stole one base.
Yophery Rodriguez went 5-for-15 with three doubles and two home runs. He drove in six runs and scored five. The left-handed-hitting outfielder posted a .246/.318/.462 slash line with 29 doubles and 16 home runs this season. He drove in 50 runs, scored 61, and stole two bases.
Ronny Hernandez went 8-for-16 with two home runs. The left-handed-hitting catcher/first baseman slashed .304/.407/.548 with 11 doubles and 15 home runs this season. He drove in 45 runs and scored 50. Hernandez walked as many times (40) as he struck out (40).
Leighton Finley made his High-A debut on the final day of the season. The right-handed pitcher allowed one hit over 4 2/3 shutout innings. He struck out seven batters and walked three.
Yordanny Monegro allowed two runs on two hits over two innings. He struck out four batters and walked one. The right-handed pitcher allowed a two-run home run to the third batter of the game but dominated outside of that. Monegro even registered 97 MPH on the radar gun, which is great to see as he works his way back from Tommy John.
Salem RidgeYaks (Single-A)
Sadbiel Delzine allowed just one unearned run on four hits over four innings in his final start of the season. He struck out six batters without walking any (for the third straight outing). The right-handed pitcher posted a 2.52 ERA, .219 BAA, and 1.08 WHIP in seven starts in Single-A. He struck out 36 batters and walked six in 25 innings.
Kleyver Salazar went 9-for-14 with two doubles and five RBI. The right-handed-hitting catcher/first baseman slashed .293/.403/.479 with 25 doubles, one triple, and 12 home runs in Single-A this season. He drove in 69 runs, scored 60, and stole five bases.
Adonys Guzman went 4-for-11 with a double, two home runs, and six RBI. The right-handed-hitting catcher/first baseman slashed .259/.377/.462 with 15 doubles and 12 home runs between Single-A and High-A this season. He drove in 44 runs and scored 43 more.
Colton Coates went 6-for-15 with two doubles and three RBI. He walked more times (3) than he struck out (2). The switch-hitting infielder posted a .258/.365/.338 slash line with three doubles and a triple. He drove in nine runs, scored 11, and stole one base. Coates finished with 11 walks and just 10 strikeouts in 74 plate appearances.
