The Boston Red Sox's "Big Three" prospects will be present at this season's All-Star festivities at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

Marcelo Mayer, Roman Anthony and Kyle Teel will be a part of the yearly showcase for Minor League Baseball's best, but not all together.

Mayer and Teel, Boston's No. 1 and No. 3 prospects, respectively, have been named to the American League roster for the All-Star Futures Game. Mayer is the highest-ranked AL prospect to make the squad, according to MLB Pipeline. Keith Law of The Athletic has Mayer ranked as the best prospect on either team.

Mayer and Teel's spots are well-deserved as the two are posting stellar seasons for the Double-A Portland Sea Dogs. Mayer is slashing .307/.371/.479 with seven homers and a team-leading 25 doubles through 68 games. Teel is batting .302/.390/.464 with 14 doubles and eight homers in 60 games with Portland.

Anthony, Boston's No. 2 prospect, has been chosen for the hitting skills competition in the Futures Skills Showcase. The outfielder hasn't posted offensive numbers as high as his teammates Mayer and Teel, but he's still very much part of the "Big Three" and worthy of his hype.

Anthony is batting .245/.358/.441 with 15 doubles, two triples and eight homers in 60 games. He walks at a higher clip than both Mayer and Teel, but Anthony hasn't had as much success at the plate as he did last season at the start of his Sea Dogs career.

The Red Sox, Rangers and Rays each boast three representatives in this season's Futures game events, the most in the AL. Boston has one of the better farm systems in MLB in recent years, and its three biggest names will have the chance to prove it alongside the rest of the AL's best.
