After a long dark winter without baseball, MLB Opening Day is finally here. On March 26, the Boston Red Sox will face the Cincinnati Reds in a baseball game that counts.
Spring training gave Red Sox fans a look at how he team's many new additions will fit in with their previous players, and Boston's players' World Baseball Classic success has given us a taste for electricity and drama. This season, the Red Sox will see if they can establish themselves in a highly competitive division and return to the postseason for the second consecutive year.
Here's a guide for fans who want to keep up with all the action over the next 162 games, whether that's with cable or a streaming service.
How to watch the Red Sox on cable in 2026
The Red Sox broadcast the majority of their games exclusively through NESN. Fans can watch NESN on cable with multiple providers (click here for a full list) including Xfinity, Verizon, DirecTV, Cox, Spectrum and more.
NESN is available throughout New England, except Fairfield County, CT. Fairfield County and other United States residents outside of New England should refer to the streaming platform viewing guide below to find the best way to watch the Red Sox in your area.
The Red Sox will also appear in a few nationally televised games on ESPN, TBS and FOX.
How to watch the Red Sox on NESN 360 in 2026
NESN 360 is a streaming app that gives 24/7 access to NESN feeds within the New England states (excluding Fairfield County, CT). Fans can use NESN 360 on a smart TV or mobile device. They may sign in with their TV provider if it offers NESN, or they can sign up directly with NESN 360 for $29.99 per month or $239.99 per year.
How to watch the Red Sox on other streaming platforms in 2026
NESN is available to stream on FuboTV and DirecTV Stream, with some restrictions, such as local blackouts.
Apple TV broadcasts two baseball games each Friday night during the season. It'll be the Red Sox and Detroit Tigers' turn on April 17. Apple TV offers a one-week free trial and otherwise costs $12.99 per month — we recommend you save your free trial until the week of the Sox's game.
Fans can watch all out-of-market MLB games with a subscription to MLB.TV for $149.99 for the season. Unfortunately, New England residents can't watch home Red Sox games with this subscription.
NESN is not available to stream with Hulu, Sling TV or YouTube TV.
