I'm a New Hampshirite born and bred and I've been going to Red Sox and Sea Dogs games for as long as I can remember. Despite currently studying abroad in Scotland, I haven’t missed watching a game. I have been a totally dedicated fan just long enough to remember why we don't talk about Grady Little or Aaron Boone any more. I'm not a big believer in these new wave sabermetrics, but I bet Tris Speaker didn't know what UZR or DIPS are either and look how he turned out. My dad once had a conversation with Ted Williams in the street, and that's about as close to royalty as I will ever get.
