It’s been more than a year since the Boston Red Sox City Connect uniforms were officially unveiled – and they look as good today as they did last April.
The uniforms were a massive departure from Boston’s typical threads, instead opting for the colors of the Boston Marathon with a Patriots’ Day uniform.
Patriots’ Day has obviously taken on even more meaning after the tragic events of the 2013 Marathon bombing – a tragedy that the Sox used as motivation to win the World Series that year.
As far as the uniforms go, they’re about the brightest thing you’ll see on a MLB field. Gone is the navy, white and red and in is a bright yellow and blue.
They’re incredibly fun – and the Sox were white-hot in them towards the end of last season.
