Calum Scott is rumored to be performing ‘Dancing On My Own’ at Fenway Park for Game 4 of the Red Sox-Astros ALCS

“Dancing On My Own” has been the song of the Red Sox postseason, and now, fans might get to hear a live rendition.

According to multiple Twitter users, Calum Scott, who covered the song, was spotted at the team store across from Fenway Park on Tuesday.

On Tuesday afternoon, Boston Strong, which often has breaking news at the same time as the most accurate members of the Boston media, dropped this juicy rumor:

A source of my own confirmed that Scott was rehearsing the song at Fenway on Tuesday afternoon.

‘Dancing On My Own’ was written and originally performed by Swedish star, Robyn. Her version has been featured in numerous tv shows, including ‘Girls’ and ‘Gossip Girl’. Scott gained worldwide fame by performing the hit on ‘Britain’s Got Talent’, but has since become known for his own music, as well.

First, it was catcher Kevin Plawecki’s walk-up song. Now, it’s the team’s anthem.

When the Red Sox won the ALDS last week, they celebrated by popping bottles to Scott’s cover with Tiesto. A fan tagged Scott and Tiesto in a tweet, saying they should come perform the song live.

Scott, who is originally from Yorkshire, England, seems to be becoming a Red Sox fan himself. He’s been tweeting throughout the postseason, reacting to the victories and sharing fans’ videos.

The energy for the home games has been electric as is, but a live performance of “Dancing On My Own” might just blow the proverbial roof off America’s most beloved ballpark.
