Oh, what a night!

In case you missed it, the Boston Red Sox walked it off against the Tampa Bay Rays in the thirteenth inning at Fenway Park on Sunday night, winning in dramatic fashion on a Christian Vazquez home run.

In doing so, the Red Sox took a 2-1 series lead. Can they take the series on Monday night?

Red Sox Pitcher Today: Eduardo Rodriguez

Can second time be the charm for Eduardo Rodriguez? He started the first game of the series, but Alex Cora pulled him after just 1 2/3 innings when he allowed two earned runs on two hits and walked two.

Nick Pivetta was supposed to start Game 4, but in a Nathan Eovaldi-esque twist of fate, was required for Game 3’s extra-inning battle. Unlike Eovaldi’s 2018 World Series moment, however, the Red Sox bats actually managed to win this one.

Hopefully, ERod is fired up from Pivetta’s electric performance on Sunday night and pitches better at Fenway than he did at the Trop. With the length of Game 3, there are many tired pitchers Cora won’t touch. He needs his starter to start and stay.
