All the information you need to know about how to watch or listen to the Boston Red Sox take on the Seattle Mariners on Opening Day.

Baseball is back! The Boston Red Sox begin their quest to defend their World Series title with a trip to Seattle to take on the Mariners on Opening Day.

The four-game set in Seattle is the first stop of an unusually long 11-game road trip to begin the season. The Red Sox were road warriors last year with an MLB-best 51-30 road record. They’ll be tested early to find out if that success away from Fenway Park carries over to 2019.

This Mariners began the season last week with a pair of games in Japan against the Oakland A’s. They won both, giving them an early 2-0 lead for MLB’s best record. Don’t expect that to last long. While the M’s won a respectable 89 games last season, this is not the same roster. Edwin Diaz, James Paxton, Robinson Cano, and Nelson Cruz are among the top names missing from this year’s squad.

The Red Sox return most of their championship core from a team that won a franchise-record 108 games last season. Reigning MVP Mookie Betts headlines a star-studded lineup while perennial Cy Young candidate Chris Sale takes the mound on Opening Day.

Here’s the lineup that the Red Sox will use for the first game of the regular season.

You’ll notice that manager Alex Cora is mixing it up a bit at the top. Andrew Benintendi is the new leadoff hitter while Rafael Devers has the luxury of hitting between Betts and J.D. Martinez.

Every other MLB team was in action this afternoon, leaving the Red Sox vs Mariners as the only game on tonight for a Nationally televised event.

Where can you tune in for tonight’s game? We’re here to provide all the information you need to catch the Red Sox take on the Mariners.
