Everything you need to know about how to watch the Boston Red Sox take on the Los Angeles Dodgers in Game 3 of the World Series.
Move over, Hollywood. The World Series is now the most entertaining show in town. The Boston Red Sox head to Los Angeles to face the Dodgers in Game 3.
The Red Sox took a commanding lead in the series by winning both games at Fenway Park, outscoring the Dodgers by a margin of 12-6. Teams that go up 2-0 in the World Series have gone on to win the championship 79.6% of the time. The Red Sox have yet to lose a game on the road this postseason and won’t be intimidated by playing in Dodger Stadium.
Boston will shuffle its rotation, bumping Rick Porcello up a spot to start Game 3. Nathan Eovaldi has been pushed back to Game 4 after pitching an inning of relief in each of the first two games of this series.

Porcello’s uneven season has carried over into the playoffs. He pitched well in the ALDS, holding the New York Yankees to one run over five innings. Then he was tagged for four runs over four innings in the ALCS against the Houston Astros. He also made key bullpen appearances in both series but as a starter we can never be quite certain what we’ll get from Porcello.
Moving to a National League ballpark should help Porcello. He won’t have to worry about facing a designated hitter, plus the Dodgers call home to one of the more pitcher-friendly parks in the majors. Porcello also gets the chance to hit! We know he enjoys doing that.
The Dodgers will counter with right-hander Walker Buehler. The rookie is 0-1 with a 5.40 ERA through three postseason starts. Buehler started the decisive Game 7 of the NLCS against the Milwaukee Brewers. While he fell one out shy of qualifying for the win, Buehler allowed only one run in the outing for his most impressive postseason performance.
You don’t want to miss any of the action from Game 3 of the World Series, so we’re here to fill you in on everything you need to know about how to tune in.
