Providing you with all the info you need about the schedule for the 2018 World Series between the Boston Red Sox and the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Two of the most storied franchises in baseball will meet in the World Series when the Boston Red Sox take on the Los Angeles Dodgers.

The Red Sox are aiming for their third championship of the 21st century while the Dodgers are trying to win for the first time since 1988.

This marks the first time these clubs have faced each other in the Fall Classic since 1916 when the Red Sox defeated the Brooklyn Dodgers in five games. The series will open in Fenway Park, where the Dodgers haven’t played since 2010. The highlight of that series was Manny Ramirez‘ return to Boston for the first time since the Red Sox traded him to Los Angeles midway through the 2008 season. Boston swept LA in the three-game series, outscoring the Dodgers by a 17-10 margin.

Whether it’s ancient history or a bit more recent, the Red Sox have fared well at home against the Dodgers. That could prove noteworthy with Boston holding home-field advantage by virtue of winning a major league-high 108 games this season.

We’re still waiting on both teams to announce their World Series rosters. The Red Sox have already revealed that Chris Sale will start Game 1 after he wasn’t needed to wrap up the ALCS against the Houston Astros. The rest of the rotation isn’t set in stone behind him yet and it’s possible the team could make some roster changes, particularly if Steven Wright proves he’s ready to contribute.

What we do know is when each game of the World Series will be played and where to tune in. Plan your schedule for the next week or so accordingly!

Game 1: Tuesday, October 23 at 8:09 p.m. in Boston
Game 2: Wednesday, October 24 at 8:09 p.m. in Boston

Game 6: Tuesday, October 30 at 8:09 p.m. in Boston (if necessary)
Game 7: Wednesday, October 31 at 8:09 p.m. in Boston (if necessary)

Each game of this World Series will be broadcast on Fox.

The World Series will wrap up on Halloween night if it lasts the full seven games. Kids will need to finish their trick-or-treating before game time. If there’s anything better than free candy, it’s a decisive Game 7 of the World Series.
