Boston Red Sox vs Cleveland Indians: How to watch, listen, live stream
All the information you need on how to watch or listen to the Boston Red Sox take on the Cleveland Indians on Thursday afternoon.
We have day baseball on Thursday as the Boston Red Sox wrap up their four-game series with the Cleveland Indians.
The Red Sox need a win in order to even the series. After dropping the first two games to the Tribe by a total of only four runs this week, Boston rallied back with a convincing 10-4 win last night.
David Price takes the mound looking to even the score in this series. He’s been phenomenal of late, with a 3-0 record and 1.35 ERA over his last five starts. Sure, he’s beaten up on some bad teams over that stretch. He also tossed eight innings of one-run ball against a Philadelphia Phillies team on the edge of a playoff spot. Price also exercised his demons against the dreaded New York Yankees, holding them to only two runs over six innings.

This series was hyped as a meeting of MVP candidates. Each team has a pair of superstars firmly in the race yet they’ve all been relatively quiet by their usual standards. The Red Sox were carried to a win last night by their supporting cast – a pair of home runs by Xander Bogaerts and one by Mitch Moreland. In the two Cleveland wins it was guys like Melky Cabrera and the unheralded Greg Allen doing the bulk of the damage.
Is this the game where the stars break out?
Boston enters the day with a major league-leading 89 wins and a nine-game lead over the Yankees in the AL East. As crazy as it sounds, the Red Sox won the division with 93 wins in each of the last two years. They should eclipse that total by the end of August this year!
