Robby Scott (2 IP, 4 H, 3 R, 1 BB, 2 K)
Zeke Spruill (6 IP, 7 H, 3 R (one earned), 2 BB, 3 K)
* Spruill is now a regular in the PawSox rotation and is considered a borderline prospect. For the season Spruill has functioned it every pitching role and has even captured a pair of saves. The 25-year-old right-hander was acquired from Arizona for pitcher Myles Smith.
Notable Position Players:
Quintin Berry (3-4)
Travis Shaw (1-4)
Allen Craig 1-3, BB)
Marco Hernandez (2-3, 2B, BB)
* Hernandez has not missed a beat since moving up from Portland as he is now hitting .298. Hernandez. only 22-years-old, was a PTBNL from Chicago for Felix Doubront. Will this be a player that Theo undervalued? Time will tell.

Final Score: Portland Sea Dog 5, Harrisburg 4
Notable Pitchers:
William Cuevas (2 IP, 5 H, 3 R, BB, 3 K)
Heri Quevedo (4 IP, H, 3 2 BB, K)
* Signed as a 22-year-old out of the DR appears rather late for a potential prospect but there is a history. Heri was originally signed by the Yankees in 2010 while giving the name Heri Olivo and pitched briefly for the DSL Yankees. His contract was declared void and he became a free agent again.
Notable Position Players:
Oscar Tejeda (1-4, R)

Notable Pitchers:
Ben Taylor (6 IP, 4 H, R, 5 K)
* Taylor was a seventh round pick in 2015 signing out of South Alabama. Taylor, a 22-year-old right-hander, started the season at Lowell where he had 17 K’s in 10 innings while showcasing a fastball that can reach the mid-90s. Joseph Monge (1-2, R, RBI)

Notable Pitchers:
Jake Cosart (6 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 3 K)
The best performance of the year for Cosart who issued no walks. Cosart entered the game with 26 innings pitched and 20 walks with 21 strikeouts. The 21-year-old right-hander was a third round selection in 2014 and features four pitches with varying degrees of success. Cosart can go in the 93-95 range on his fastball.

Tate Matheny ( 1-2, RBI)
Chad De La Guerra (2-4)
Andrew Benintendi (1-2, 2 R, 3B, BB)
* The first round pick is not exactly lighting it up hitting just .229, but there is more to the story. Benintendi’s OBP is an outstanding .386 and the power he displayed at Arkansas is showing at Lowell with four home runs and 10 RBI.
Gulf Coast League Red Sox (Rookie)
Final Score: GCL Orioles 5, GCL Red Sox 4 (11 innings)
