• This is sort of the opposite kind of start that we’ve become accustomed to this season. Whereas Ball has frequently posted stingy starts despite shaky peripherals, last night he put up a mediocre start with great peripherals. This start doesn’t look like much but with regards to long term success, it’s more encouraging than one run and a 2:2 K:BB ratio.
