Rusney Castillo (1-3, BB)

  • It’s safe to say that Castillo’s first full season with the Red Sox has not gone according to plan. He has spent most of this season in Pawtucket and a brief stint in Boston was unsuccessful. Worst of all, he hasn’t even been that good in Pawtucket, slashing .282/.337/.389 and hardly proving to be the dynamic power-speed guy that the Red Sox signed to a record deal from Cuba. There’s time for him to turn this around but this performance doesn’t bode well for this contract’s success.

Allen Craig (1-3, BB)

Marco Hernandez (1-4, 3 K)

Travis Shaw (1-4, 2 K)
