- Rijo hasn’t adapted well to High-A after a promising season a year ago in Greenville. He’s hitting only .245/.303/.379, though he has hit 21 doubles, a far cry from his success in the lower levels of the minors. Still, he’s 19 years old and has plenty of time to get back on track; after all, he’ll likely be in Portland as a 20-year old.
