Short Season-A Lowell Spinners
Victor Acosta (0-3, K)
Jake Cosart (1.1 IP, 4 H, 7 R, 7 ER, 2 BB, 3 K)
- Cosart, last season’s third-round pick, was rocked last night for seven runs in less than two innings. He was hailed as being a powerful, interesting arm that needed a long way to go before he was polished enough for the majors and, sporting a 9.72 ERA in Lowell, that has held true thus far.
Mitchell Gunsolus (1-3, HR, R, 2 RBI, BB, K)
Matt Kent (3 IP, 2 H, R, ER, 4 K)
Tucker Tubbs (0-3, R, BB)
