Triple-A Pawtucket Red Sox
Rusney Castillo (2-4, R, BB)
- This is an encouraging game from Castillo, who continues to perform well with Pawtucket, as he drew a rare walk. Developing his patience will be a crucial part of his major league success so it inspires confidence to see him focusing on that part of his game while he’s in Triple-A.
Allen Craig (1-3, R, BB, K)
Travis Shaw (1-3, 2 RBI, BB, K)
Garin Cecchini (0-3, BB, K)
Steven Wright (5 IP, 10 H, 6 R, 3 ER, BB, 3 K)
- This wasn’t a pretty outing for Wright, whose knuckler must not have been fluttering well last night. Even with this tough game, though, he’s sporting a 3.00 ERA in Pawtucket this year and remains Boston’s most accessible depth in Triple-A.

Double-A Portland Sea Dogs
Carlos Asuaje (1-4)
Manuel Margot (0-4, 3 K)
- This is a tough game for Margot, who has had a seamless transition to Double-A thus far. Even with this poor performance under his belt, he’s slashing .282/.300/.436 in his first taste of the upper minors.
Sam Travis (1-3)
Shane Victorino (1-4, K)
- Victorino’s rehab assignment has gone on for an awfully long time. It’s worth wondering if the Red Sox are buying time until some space opens in the Red Sox outfield. However, it’s also uncertain whether he’s fully recovered as he’s hitting just .231 in 26 minor league at bats on this assignment.

High-A Salem Red Sox
Ty Buttrey (5 IP, 7 H, 7 R, 5 ER, 3 BB, 2 K)
- And we get to a rare shaky performance by Buttrey, who has been excellent all season long. He has returned to the Red Sox prospect radar after two down years and he is still the owner of a respectable 3.13 ERA in High-A and could be looking at a promotion before long.
Mauricio Dubon (0-5, 2 K)
Tzu-Wei Lin (2-4, 2 R, RBI)
Wendell Rijo (2-5, 2 2B, R, 2 K)

Low-A Greenville Drive
Rafael Devers (2-5, R, RBI, HR)
- Devers comes through with his sixth homer of the season. His first year of full-season baseball hasn’t gone perfectly, but he’s slashing an impressive .305/.336/.457, which is pretty solid given that he’s still just 18 years old.
Javier Guerra (2-5, R, RBI, 2B)
Nick Longhi (1-5, K)
Yoan Moncada (1-4, BB, 2 K)

Short Season-A Lowell Spinners
Victor Acosta (1-4, K)
Mitchell Gunsolus (1-3, BB, 2 K)
Josh Ockimey (0-4, 2 K)
- This is a rough game for Ockimey, who shows off why he’s such a raw player despite his obvious talent. Still, he’s had success in Lowell this season and is slashing .300/.341/.525, displaying the raw power which made the Red Sox take a fifth-round flyer on him last year.

GCL Red Sox
Yoan Aybar (1-4)
Nicholos Hamilton (0-2, R, 2 K)
Daniel McGrath (2 IP, 3 H, 0 R, 2 K)
- McGrath, the talented Australian southpaw is on a rehab assignment, and will return to Salem soon. He has been great in Salem this season, featuring a 1.80 ERA in 6 starts, and this represents a solid return for him.
Jagger Rusconi (0-3)
Kyri Washington (0-2, 2 BB, 2 K)
- Washington is an intriguing 2015 draftee out of Longwood University. There’s plenty of swing and miss in his game, but he has quite a bit of raw power and it’ll be interesting to see how he produces in the Gulf Coast League.
