Double-A Portland Sea Dogs

Carlos Asuaje (1-4)

Manuel Margot (0-4, 3 K)

  • This is a tough game for Margot, who has had a seamless transition to Double-A thus far. Even with this poor performance under his belt, he’s slashing .282/.300/.436 in his first taste of the upper minors.

Sam Travis (1-3)

Shane Victorino (1-4, K)

  • Victorino’s rehab assignment has gone on for an awfully long time. It’s worth wondering if the Red Sox are buying time until some space opens in the Red Sox outfield. However, it’s also uncertain whether he’s fully recovered as he’s hitting just .231 in 26 minor league at bats on this assignment.
