High-A Salem Red Sox
Tzu-Wei Lin (2-4, R, BB)
Wendell Rijo (2-4, 2B, 2 RBI, K)
- Rijo’s first season in High-A hasn’t gone perfectly, as he is slashing only .249/.297/.388 with 3 homers and 4 steals. However, he turns in a nice game today and it’s important to consider that he’s still just 19 years old. There’s a long way to go before he’s a major leaguer or even a high-profile prospect, but he’s got time to get there.
