Adrian Gonzalez unveiled as the poster boy for ‘MLB 12: The Show’
The start of the 2012 MLB season is a little over two months away from starting and with it comes a new version of video games for all the die hard fans to purchase so they can play along at home. This year’s version of MLB 12: The Show features Boston Red Sox slugger, Adrian Gonzalez. Today the cover for the game was unveiled with Adrian on it, courtesy of ESPN.
Gonzalez did an interview with ESPN’s Jon Robinson and he admits the creators of the game once again outdid themselves.
“It’s so realistic, and my favorite part about playing is actually seeing all of the little mannerisms they included in the game between pitches.”
Like so many others, Gonzalez grew up playing baseball video games so to be featured on a cover of one is a true honor as he told Robinson.
“I loved playing ‘RBI Baseball’ and ‘Baseball Stars.’ Those were fun games, and I still play ‘RBI’ if I ever see it in an arcade. That’s one of those games where, if I see it, I have to jump on. Those games are both definitely classics.”
MLB 12: The Show is set for release in March, just in time for the start of the season. I’ll be getting my copy, how about you?
