Theo Epstein helped build a winning baseball team in Boston that resulted in two World Series titles. He’s responsible for some star studded signings and draft picks and his tireless effort off the field in the charity “Foundation To Be Named Later” has helped thousands of under priveleged kids.
Theo is a class act the whole way and while it’s difficult to watch him depart for Chicago, where he’ll try and end the Cubs winless curse, you can’t help but be happy for him.
As a way to thank the fans, the owners and everyone he’s worked with for the past ten years, Theo took out a full page ad in the Boston Globe. He truly is classy and his exit from Boston proves that. Good luck in Chicago Theo, one eye will be on the Cubs scoreboard all season long.
After the jump you can view the one page thank-you from Theo.
