All Hale the Blue Jays?

A major league baseball source reported yesterday that Red Sox bench coach Demarlo Hale was being called in for a 2nd interview for the Toronto Blue Jays vacant managing position. While this is great news for Hale and I certainly hope he is given an opportunity to manage, having an insider go to a division rival is concerning. It appears the Blue Jays have called in a handful of candidates for 2nd interviews, so Hale’s hiring is certainly not guaranteed just yet. Hale has a plethora of coaching experience at all levels of baseball and has an extremely deep knowledge of the game. The Blue Jays would be lucky to have Hale, but it would certainly put the Red Sox in a tougher position within the division. His full bio from RedSox.com is after the jump.
