Sox Face J-Bay in New Home

The Red Sox are traveling to Port St. Lucie today to take on the New York Mets and former teammate Jason Bay will be in the lineup. The game is scheduled to begin at 1:10pm, but there may be some rain for both teams to contend with. The starters in this game will be John Lackey for the Sox and Mike Pelfrey for the Mets.

As the chemistry continues to grow, the 1-2 men in the Sox lineup are the double-play tandem of Marco Scutaro and Dustin Pedroia. Two guys missing from yesterday’s lineup, DH David Ortiz and RF J.D. Drew, are hitting in the 4 and 5 slot today. Besides Jason Bay, the Red Sox will also see former teammate SS Alex Cora in the Met’s lineup. Cora played for the Sox from mid-2005 through 2008.
