Red Sox Nation Get Use To The “HIGHS” & “LOWS”

Here we go again, as the Boston Red Sox are back on that up and down roller coaster ride.  Which means it’s time that we the members of Red Sox Nation get use to the “highs” and “lows” of this ride!  As it’s looking like the Sox are making this a habit this season.  They like to win a few games, then turn around and lose a few in a row.  Which is exactly what they just did after the Sox swept the series with the Baltimore Orioles this past week in Baltimore.  After the sweep the Sox strolled into Tampa on a high, only a half game out of first in the AL East

Two days later when they left Tampa, it was on a major low, as the Tampa Bay Rays swept them in their short two game series.  Including these two recent games, the Sox are now a combined 2-13 at Tropicana Field over the last two seasons.  Remember a few years ago when the same Rays couldn’t even give us a decent game, as Boston was winning pretty much all of them.  Well I guess the times have changed and they’ve changed to quickly, if you ask me.

So as the Sox leave the “house of horrors” which is what RSN should now be calling Tropicana, now 2 1/2 back in the East.  Things aren’t looking any better as the Sox now have a four game series with the hated and the AL East leading New York Yankees, in New York.  Here’s some good news for all of RSN, if the Sox were to continue this roller coaster ride, they’d be sweeping the Yankees and retaking first in the East.

It’s true if you just look at the recent patten, they go to Baltimore and sweep the Orioles.  Then travel down south to face the Rays and we know what just happened, they lost both games.  So what’s the next part of this fun ride?  It would be time for the Sox to sweep!  Which is great news for the Sox and their fans, and not so great if you’re a Yankees fan.  Will it happen?  I’m thinking most likely NO.  Hey you can’t beat a man for wishing, right?  Or can you?
