Boston Red Sox 500th Consecutive Sellout!

Congratulations to the Boston Red Sox as tonight’s game with the Florida Marlins will mark their 500th consecutive sellout!  The streak which started on May 15, 2003 means more than 19 million fans have walked through those dates since that day.  Which means every single game come rain or shine, day game or night game, or who ever the opponent has been that day Fenway Park has been packed.  And the Sox haven’t disappointed their fans since, especially when they’ve brought home the World Series trophy on two occasions (2004&2007) since the streak began.

Since they started the streak Fenway has enjoyed a few changes, like the Green Monster seats, the 404 Club (named after Ted Williams), and the right field roof box seats/deck area.  These additions have only made the game and the experience of being at Fenway (the oldest ballpark in the majors) even better.  As more fans can and have been able to see one of the greatest teams of all time play ball in this very special park.

Once again congratulations on #500to the Red Sox, their fans, the great city of Boston, their owner Mr. John Henry and all the great players that have donned the Red Sox uniform over the years.  Here’s to 500 more sellouts to make it 1000 consecutive sellouts forFenway Park and the Boston Red Sox!  A victory over the “fish” tonight would make this celebration even sweeter, so let’s go Sox!
