The dark-side has landed in Boston, the heavens and it’s moons are aligned perfectly. Which can mean only thing it’s time for another “epic” battle of good vs evil! Everyone and anyone who’s truly a fan of this game knows which two MLB teams clubs are involved in the constant battle. Representing the dark-side are the New York Yankees, and proudly serving and protecting the good-side are the Boston Red Sox! This is what baseball is all about right here, as the greatest rivals in all of sports is set to take center stage once again, this weekend in Fenway Park.
The lengthy history between these two teams is truly one that’s unmatched by other teams, regardless of the sport. OK, maybe the Lakers-Celtics, or Canadians-Bruins, come kinda close, but not to this magnitude. What we have is the greatest love-hate relationship in sports. One that not only applies to the players, managers, team personnel, but also to the millions upon millions of their fans worldwide. And for the next three days there are no other “story-lines” concerning MLB, and it’s other clubs. For all the world is focused on watching and waiting on the next chapter, that’s about to be written in this saga.
For those of us that are lucky enough to have been born into the “feud” your taught one very important thing early in life. Which is “never to cross over to the other side” it’s out of the question, since there are no choosing sides. It’s part of the DNA, that’s inside each and everyone of us, it’s formed inside us before birth, and shall never perish. No matter what happens in the world this “battle” can not and will not ever be extinguished, for this is what baseball and rivalries are all about.
It begins tonight with PART 1 of this 18 ACT installment, and will continue all season long. As another chapter will be written and recorded into this famous story book. Be sure not to miss it, when the action gets under way at 7:10 pm EST, as each act is unique and very special for it’s followers!
