Triple-A Pawtucket Red Sox

Rusney Castillo (2-4, R, BB)

  • This is an encouraging game from Castillo, who continues to perform well with Pawtucket, as he drew a rare walk. Developing his patience will be a crucial part of his major league success so it inspires confidence to see him focusing on that part of his game while he’s in Triple-A.

Allen Craig (1-3, R, BB, K)

Travis Shaw (1-3, 2 RBI, BB, K)

Garin Cecchini (0-3, BB, K)

Steven Wright (5 IP, 10 H, 6 R, 3 ER, BB, 3 K)

  • This wasn’t a pretty outing for Wright, whose knuckler must not have been fluttering well last night. Even with this tough game, though, he’s sporting a 3.00 ERA in Pawtucket this year and remains Boston’s most accessible depth in Triple-A.
