Lester carried a no-hitter into the sixth inning his last start: a lefty showdown with Chris Sale and the Chicago South Siders that ultimately resulted in a Boston victory. Tanaka blanked the Cubs through eight innings his last time out, yielding a meager two hits to the North Siders.
