Since a “Fielder’s Choice” play could keep the Red Sox out of the World Series for the next decade, anxious Sox fans are wondering:
“When will the Prince make his choice?”
and
“Who will Fielder sign with?”

Fielder could become the “Prince of Doom” for the Red Sox, since, even if the Sox win the AL East, or the Wild Card, they will very likely face the Rangers in the AL playoffs.
