‘Call to the Pen’ Thinks Sizemore Could Work

Opinions are like bellybuttons; everybody has one.  Earlier this week I revealed how I felt about Grady Sizemore and the rumors that the Red Sox could be interested in siging the free agent.  I made a case on why I felt Sizemore is one free agent the Sox should stay away from, focusing their attention and money in other areas, on other players who could bring more return. 

Mickey, a writer over at the Fansided site ‘Call to the Pen’ makes a very compelling case on why the Red Sox should take a gamble on bringing Sizemore to Boston.  It’s more than just statistics for Mickey when he looks at how Sizemore would fit in with the Red Sox; it’s all about how he plays the game.

While I give Mickey credit for compliling a persuasive argument, I still feel Sizemore is too much of a health risk to be offered a contract in Boston.  But again, that’s just my bellybutton, err, I mean opinion.
