According to multiple reports, including WEEI, the Red Sox have agreed to a seven-year, $72.5 million deal with Cuban outfielder Rusney Castillo that will begin this season.
At 5-foot-9, 205 pounds, Castillo is a five-tool player according to some scouts. He projects to play either center or right with the Red Sox.
Castillo's 60-yard dash was 6.4 to 6.5, which is a 70 on the 20-80 scale and deemed plus-plus. Said to be an expected 30+ SB player.

It’ll be interesting to see how the Red Sox sort out their suddenly overcrowded outfield in the offseason, but it’s a good problem to have. One month ago the Sox had very little production from the outfield and suddenly they’ve got an abundance of talent.
