On the same night, the A’s Yoenis Cespedes and the Jay’s Jose Reyes slid into second so awkwardly it would embarrass a Little League. Both players were injured and deservedly so. Reyes is headed to the DL while Cespedes survived his trip, stumble and fall and stayed in the game.
