Highly doubt they trade him within the division. If they fall out of contention and he’s claimed by a rival on waivers, then maybe it’ll happen which was the case with Delmon Young going to Detroit from the Twins in 2011.

Me too, but I think he will be dealt to an AL team, since his value-added role as a DH is a factor. Of all the deals, I would prefer the one for Dayan Viciedo; as a former 3b, he can learn 1b and be a plus on D; I think he has the potential to hit 30 HRs and collect 90 RBIs, once he finds his groove.

Why not give NY a call? Yankees have Sanchez a few years away and Salty could hold down some time in NY. DH…play a little first and catch. Could they get Tyler Austin? NY has a load of OF prospects.

Good idea. The Yanks think that Romine will take over the starter role this year. Yes, I think the Yanks would deal Tyler Austin for Salty 1-1; I also like the upside on Ty Hensley. Great thanks for your insightful comment.

Some one please tell the Writer that some of the players he mentioned ( Pimental, Sands…) have already been traded.
I wouldnt mind any of these players back in trade for Salty; Jones, Smoak, Carp, Colvin… Will Bumbling Ben make the trade?
