Welcome to the NEW BoSox Injection!!!

During an up and down weekend for the Red Sox, BoSox Injection was infused with new life and energy. First we debuted the BoSox Injection iPhone and iPad application and now thanks to the wonderful team at Fansided.com, BoSox Injection site has not only gotten a refreshing new look, but now has tons of added features with room for more growth almost daily. Take some time and navigate the site, I promise you won’t be disappointed with the new look and function. I wanted to take an opportunity to point out a few of the new features for you to enjoy. Let’s get started…

The first place to start is at the top. My favorite new added feature is the ability to customize drop-down menus along the top toolbar. Right now, there are some usual menus (Home, About, etc.) and some new menus (Roster, Schedule) that are a work in progress, but will hold all of the relevant information for every Red Sox fan. More menus may be added as I get more comfortable with the new layout and I welcome suggestions of new items you would like to add. Thanks to the new design, BoSox Injection now has the ability to be your one-stop Red Sox information hub!

For those readers who have been around for a while, you may have noticed our poll feature on the old site had been missing for a few months. Well, never fear, it has returned! On the right-hand toolbar about halfway down the page is the poll section. As in the past, I plan on updating it every few days or so, depending on the relevant of the day, week or month. Also along the right side of the page is a box called ‘Team Tweets’, which shows the latest twitter postings from MLB bloggers across the country. Towards the top of the page, there is a great feature that is a quick link to 2 of the most recent blog posts on the site for quick reference.

Down at the bottom of the page there is a ‘Most Popular Posts’ section that will be up and running shortly, and will feature posts you will want to go back and read over and over again throughout the season and off-season. All of that is just the tip of the iceberg for the site. Over the next several weeks and months, I will be adding features and special content, so stay tuned. Shortly there will also be a chat section, that will allow for more frequent and interesting live chats either during games, pre-game or post-game.

The guys at Fansided.com, Adam and Zach Best have done an incredible job upgrading sites across their network, as well as updating their server to prevent any down time. They deserve a big round of applause. If the Red Sox could pick-up the energy and excitement like we have, then we will be watching our home-town team well into October.
