Multiple sources are reporting that at a 10:30am press conference this morning, Nomar Garciaparra will announce his retirement from baseball. In an incredibly classy move, the Red Sox will reportedly sign Nomah to a 1-day minor league deal, so he can retire as a member of the Red Sox organization. According to Lou Merloni of WEEI.com, Nomah will become ESPN analyst for this upcoming season. More information to follow.
