Thanks for the comment lefty! I couldn't agree more. I also think V-Mart would make a perfect DH when Ortiz finally hangs it up, allowing him to focus on his offense. A full season with his bat in the line-up will help the Sox tremendously with their weaker offense.
A catcher like V-Mart is a hard to find commodity..Later on he can track in at 1b. If it's a choice, V-Mart B4 Beckett.Arms are usually around, and Beckett's had some issues. Unless, a contract for Beckett, then Beckett for Adrian Gonzales? It gets Beckett out of the division too.
