We all remember hearing the ole saying “All good things must come to an end”, right? Well when it pertains to the Boston Red Sox, it’s a bit of bad news for them. As the Red Sox will be playing the Baltimore Orioles for the final time in the 2009 season. Why’s that bad news? When you’ve beaten a team 15 out of 17 times over the course of a season. You just never want to see it end. Unfortunately for Boston that will end this afternoon, as the Sox and O’s meet for the final time in the 09 season.
After grabbing the opening two games of the series by the scores of 3-1 and 11-5. A win this afternoon for Boston not only means the Sox will sweep this series, with the O’s. It would also mark their 4th series sweep of Baltimore on the season. So regardless whether they win or lose, one thing’s happening for sure. The Orioles are going to be one very happy team, as they bid Boston a fond farewell for the final time.
Here’s the game information as these two meet for the 18th and final time in the 09 season.
Starting Pitchers – Daisuke Matsuzaka (2-5)
vs
Jason Berken (5-11)
1:35 PM EST at Camden Yards
in Baltimore, Maryland!
LET’S GO DICE-K AND BOSTON! LET’S FINISH OFF THE “BIRDS” ON A HIGH NOTE AND WIN THIS GAME! GO SOX!!!!!!!!!!
