Who Doesn’t Love The Number 3?
Who doesn’t love the number 3? If you think about it some really good things come in groups of 3′s. Such as triplets, twinkies, bad luck, tri-fecta’s (who doesn’t love that) and of course threesomes! Now granted the #3 isn’t my all time favorite number, that’s reserved for the # 22. Currently though at the moment it’s pretty special to me, and here’s 3 reasons why….. 3 – the # of models I’ve dated in my lifetime 3 – it’s the Boston Red Sox magic number to clinch 3 – the # of World Series titles the Red Sox could win [...]
Yankees In – 1 down & 7 more to go
Look who decided to join the party this post-season? It’s none other than the most hated team in the entire major leagues, the New York Yankees. By virtue of their 6-5 victory on Tuesday evening, the Yankees have became the first team to punch their ticket for the postseason. With 1 down and 7 more to go, it’ll be interesting to see which teams secure their spot. In the sweepstakes called “Quest for a World Series title.” Fortunately for us the wait won’t be that long. Especially since we only have 10 days left, until the end of the 2009 regular season. Which means [...]
Martinez & Saito – Join The List Of Winners!
Congratulations go out to Victor Martinez and Takashi Saito! As they are the latest winners who were selected by you the FANS. Martinez and Saito have been selected the BoSox Injection’s Boston Red Sox Players Of The Month, for August 2009. After having some technical difficulties in getting this month’s contest opened. For which I do apologize about, I’m hoping we have that problem taken care of now. We ended up seeing Saito just barely beating out Clay Buchholz in a tightly contested race, for the Sox pitcher of the month. [...]
Sox & Orioles Finale! Why’s that bad news?
We all remember hearing the ole saying “All good things must come to an end”, right? Well when it pertains to the Boston Red Sox, it’s a bit of bad news for them. As the Red Sox will be playing the Baltimore Orioles for the final time in the 2009 season. Why’s that bad news? When you’ve beaten a team 15 out of 17 times over the course of a season. You just never want to see it end. Unfortunately for Boston that will end this afternoon, as the Sox and O’s meet for the final time in the 09 season. After grabbing the opening [...]

Some Pissed Off Angels Tonight, As Red Sox Win 9-8!
Someone once told me a long time ago that angels are always happy, joyful and full of life. I’m not so sure of that anymore after seeing the ending of the Los Angeles Angels and Boston Red Sox game. Now let’s face it I only saw the final few minutes of the game, basically the bottom of the ninth. But those were some pissed off Angels tonight, as Red Sox win 9-8! From top to bottom (Mike Scioscia, Mike Napoli, Brian Fuentes) they were pissed, as they saw another lead slip away, as well as another win. It started with the [...]
Pedroia’s “BLAST” Wins Game 1 For Red Sox!
What’s the first step in sweeping a doubleheader in MLB? First and foremost it’s by winning game one, which is exactly what the Boston Red Sox did on this afternoon. As they took Game 1 of their doubleheader with the Tampa Bay Rays, by a 3-1 score. The first game of the twin bill featured a pitching showdown on the mound with Clay Buchholz (Red Sox) and Matt Garza (Rays). As both starters dominated the oppositition while keeping their own team in the ballgame. With the game knotted up at 1-1 in the eighth and Joey Gathright standing on third [...]
Good Ole Mother Nature!
Good ole Mother Nature! She finally cooperated! Well sort of anyways, as the rain held off the just long enough for the last night’s game to become official. As the Boston Red Sox grabbed the 9-1 victory over the Tampa Bay Rays, in a rain shortened 6 inning contest. After being postponed on Friday and with the weather once again looking bleak. It’s a miracle they were even able to play six, as the two clubs had to endure a 2 hour rain delay before the first pitch was thrown on the evening. When the game eventually got underway after the [...]
