The Sox definately have the bats they'll need for the push towards the post-season. The pitching i'm not that sure on, especially with Wake and Dice-K on the DL. But they didn't lose Buchholz so I'm hoping he can win at least 5-6 games the rest of the way.

As far as Smoltz is concerned he went six innings last night and got the win. It wasn't pretty but it's a victory none the less.

Still thinking they can take the AL East. Especially with 10 games to play with NY!

Matty, they also traded Laroche for Casey Kotsman from Atlanta which leaves me to believe that the sox's are stalking up on bats but not pushing for some mor pitching. Hopefully Wake comes back soon and helps out.
