I know all the die-hard followers and fans of Boston Red Sox, not only loved the club’s performance yesterday vs the Minnesota Twins.  They’d even go along and agree with me when I say the Twinkies are welcomed back at Fenway, ANYTIME!  Especially when the lay down and play dead, as the Twins did, in losing both games of the day and night double-header with the Sox.  Boston who not only spanked the Twins in game one with their 10-1 victory in a seven inning rain shortened victory.  They came back a few hours later after rain delayed the start of game two, [...]

Thanks to good ole mother nature, yesterday’s game with the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins, was postponed.  The thought of the day was “rain-rain go away come back another day” for those lucky enough to be holding tickets for the game.  But unfortunately mother nature just wasn’t going to cooperate and forced the cancellation.  So what’s MLB, go and do about the rain-out?  The geniuses in all their glory thought it would great to try and squeeze both games in on Wednesday, which was just another bad idea on their part. The Boston Red Sox have just SWEPT the lonely Baltimore Orioles, right out of Boston.  The Sox crazies are dancing after SWEEPING, the O’s with their brooms.  Today was by far their best all around team performance of the season, as they had the starting pitching to go along with a well balanced offense.  Justin Masterson, filling in for the injured Daisuke Matsuzaka with the early 11:05 am start on this Patriots’ Day, pitched brilliantly.
