Rookie’s First Career Major League Home Run!
Jonathan Van Every, just won over the hearts of the Boston Red Sox and their fans. And it all happened with one swing of his bat, or should I say one “massive”swing. As the Sox took the “rubber” gave of the series with the Cleveland Indians, thanks to his late inning heroics. The rookie’s first career major league home run couldn’t of come at a better time, as two things were accomplished with his blast. First it helped the Sox get the much needed victory as they took 2 of 3 from the Indians, in their only visit of the [...]
Over In The Blink Of An Eye!
“All good things must come to an end” everyone knows that ole sane. Now for the moment so do the Boston Red Sox, as their eleven game winning streak was stopped tonight at Progressive Field, thanks to the Cleveland Indians. After sweeping the Orioles, Twins, and the Yankees along the way in building their winning streak, it’s all over in the blink of an eye! As Javier Lopez, was unable to handle a perfect toss from first-baseman Kevin Youkilis off the bat of Asdrubal Cabrera, which allowed the winning run to score. Tonight the Red Sox, just did not play the type [...]
OMG, That Was Just Amazing!
OMG, that was just Amazing! If you’re watching the game right now between the Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees, you know which play I’m talking about. If you’re not watching the game, I have to say you just missed one of the greatest plays that can happen in baseball. The stealing of home-plate by a runner, it’s a feat you won’t see everyday. If you’re lucky enough you’ll see a few happen each season, just like the one Jacoby Ellsbury, just pulled off a few minutes ago. With the bases loaded and J.D. Drew at the plate [...]
Just Wanted To Beat Myself Up!
If there was ever a time that I just wanted to beat myself up, it would be right about now. I was so caught up and busy with the NFL Draft and running the “live draft diary” over at MusketFire.com! In doing that for the majority of the day, I completely forgot about the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees match-up this afternoon. And from the final score of the game, this was not the one to miss, as the Sox won a hard fought 16-11 ballgame. After a very long and hectic day we can all rest easy [...]
OH MY GOD! SOX WIN WITH WALK OFF IN 11TH!
OH MY GOD! SOX WIN WITH WALK OFF IN 11TH! Did you just see that finish? I did thanks to the MLB Network, on DirecTV, now that’s how you want to start the season series. With a bang and the little thing called “the long ball” and that’s just what the Boston Red Sox did as they knocked off the New York Yankees, 5-4. And it’s all due to Kevin Youkilis and his walk off home run in the bottom of the eleventh. Now Youkilis or Youk, as he’s called in Boston, wouldn’t of been the hero if it wasn’t for [...]

If you have a love for any or all of the Boston sports teams, than your in luck. As for this weekend and this weekend only all of your beloved teams will either be in action or preparing for action. That’s correct sports fans it’s time to grab that remote, sit back, relax and enjoy the wild ride over the next few days. Time For Another “EPIC” Battle Of Good vs Evil!
The dark-side has landed in Boston, the heavens and it’s moons are aligned perfectly. Which can mean only thing it’s time for another “epic” battle of good vs evil! Everyone and anyone who’s truly a fan of this game knows which two MLB teams clubs are involved in the constant battle. Representing the dark-side are the New York Yankees, and proudly serving and protecting the good-side are the Boston Red Sox! This is what baseball is all about right here, as the greatest rivals in all of sports is set to take center stage once again, this weekend in Fenway Park. The lengthy history between [...]
Twinkies Are Welcomed Back At Fenway, ANYTIME!
I know all the die-hard followers and fans of Boston Red Sox, not only loved the club’s performance yesterday vs the Minnesota Twins. They’d even go along and agree with me when I say the Twinkies are welcomed back at Fenway, ANYTIME! Especially when the lay down and play dead, as the Twins did, in losing both games of the day and night double-header with the Sox. Boston who not only spanked the Twins in game one with their 10-1 victory in a seven inning rain shortened victory. They came back a few hours later after rain delayed the start of game two, [...]
Good Ole Mother Nature!
Thanks to good ole mother nature, yesterday’s game with the Boston Red Sox and Minnesota Twins, was postponed. The thought of the day was “rain-rain go away come back another day” for those lucky enough to be holding tickets for the game. But unfortunately mother nature just wasn’t going to cooperate and forced the cancellation. So what’s MLB, go and do about the rain-out? The geniuses in all their glory thought it would great to try and squeeze both games in on Wednesday, which was just another bad idea on their part. Anyone that has a brain or a computer, [...]
Crazies Are Dancing After SWEEPING!
The Boston Red Sox have just SWEPT the lonely Baltimore Orioles, right out of Boston. The Sox crazies are dancing after SWEEPING, the O’s with their brooms. Today was by far their best all around team performance of the season, as they had the starting pitching to go along with a well balanced offense. Justin Masterson, filling in for the injured Daisuke Matsuzaka with the early 11:05 am start on this Patriots’ Day, pitched brilliantly. Masterson, who gave up four hits and only one run over 5 1/3 innings had his A game with him at the ballpark today. He had the Baltimore, hitters [...]
